About Spin of the Wheel

Spin of the Wheel is an independently produced rewrite of the Planescape: Turn of Fortune's Wheel adventure published for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition.

The author, SudoNemesis, begin playing and GMing Dungeons & Dragons after picking up Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition in the early 90s. What started as a sword and sorcery boardgames-style romp evolved into a fascination with role-playing and collaborative storytelling.

The original Planescape boxed set and Planescape: Torment CRPG unveiled a world that challenged the tropes of fantasy role play while indulging in them at the same time. This sparked a life long interest in alternate universes and modes of playing story-focused games.

After nearly thirty years of playing, telling stories, and being a mostly-forever-GM, SudoNemesis decided to share the work that goes into prepping and rewriting a big, epic adventure. They hope you enjoy reading it as much as they enjoy writing it.
